נחותא

נָחוֹתָא, נָחוֹתָהm. (נְחַת) one going or coming down, esp. one coming from Palestine to Babylonia. Y.Shek.VIII, 51a, a. e. אבדומא נ׳ (not אבודמא) A. who had been in Babylonia.
